worried

I have a spinach salad in my fridge that I bought a week ago and forgot about. I found it just now and it is still crisp and green. The tomatoes look like tomatoes and even the mushroom slices look fresh. What the heck did they spray on this? Formeldihyde? I don’t think I’m going to eat it.

  1. Have you ever watched the movie “Super Size Me”? If you haven’t you should, as it’s quite good, and pretty fair. There’s an extra, though, where the filmmaker, Spurlock, took various McDonald’s food items and put them in individual jars and filmed them five weeks later to show how they looked.

Well, the Big Macs, the Filet o’Fishes and all the other sandwiches were as mouldy as you would expect them to be. On the other hand, the fries looked as good as they looked the day they were bought.

    Hmm…

    1. I did watch Super Size Me. Grossed me out — it was a great documentary. And that is spooky about the fries looking fresh after FIVE weeks. Maybe I’ll leave the salad in the fridge for a bit longer and see if it changes …..
