A tribute to Marianne Bluger

Last October, I lost my dear friend, Marianne Bluger, to breast cancer. One of our mutual friends, Jocelyn Shipley, just pointed me in the direction to a lovely tribute for Marianne. It includes some of Marianne’s evocative haiku:

I miss Marianne so much.

I write historical fiction, mostly from the perspective of young people who are thrust in the midst of war.

  1. Losses

    Such haunting verse…

Like the echo of a friendship.

May your friend ever live in the lives she touched and the words she penned.

    XO

    Valerie
